As Talent Acquisition Specialist,
you drive recruitment across the Merkator Group by attracting, engaging, and guiding candidates throughout their hiring journey. With your strong communication skills and ability to connect with people, you build trusted relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues across the organization. A proactive mindset and structured approach help you manage recruitment processes efficiently while maintaining oversight across multiple vacancies.
You take ownership of the full recruitment cycle, including writing engaging job ads, publishing vacancies, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews. Through clear communication and timely follow-up, you make sure candidates feel informed and supported throughout the recruitment process. Fluency in English and either Dutch or French is essential, along with a good working knowledge of the other national language.
You actively connect with talent through different channels and build strong networks of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs. With an interest in IT, data, and technology-related profiles, you quickly understand our business context and confidently guide future colleagues from first contact through to offer stage.
In addition to recruitment, you contribute to employer branding by supporting content creation for the career website and social media channels, helping organize job fairs, and collaborating with Marketing on campaigns and materials. Depending on your strengths and interests, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to broader HR and talent projects.
