In search of
an FME consultant for SIGGIS, to develop both external and internal projects based on ArcGIS solutions from Esri, the global leader in the GIS community.
SIGGIS is our sister company specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) based on Esri and VertiGIS tools. They provide our customers with implementation, integration, configuration, training and assistance in the field of GIS and related IT.
What do we expect from you?
You are responsible for configuring Web GIS applications.
You perform data processing using tools and scripts such as Python, FME, etc.
You take care of desktop GIS implementations for customers.
You automate GIS analyses and modelling so that our customers can perform analyses quickly and efficiently themselves.
You contribute to the design of GIS architectures.
You will perform functional analyses of GIS tasks.
You will be keen to attend GIS conferences from time to time. For example, SIGGIS attends conferences in Palm Springs, San Diego and Hamburg.
You will also have many other interesting tasks related to GIS and geography, depending on your interests!
Who you are:
You have a higher education degree: Master's in Geography, Bioengineering or Civil Engineering, Master's in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering.
You are familiar with Esri software, such as ArcGIS, Desktop or ArcGIS Enterprise. Other GIS solutions are a plus.
You have an affinity with ICT and are a proficient PC user. Preferably, you also know something about SQL and Python.
You know how software development and databases work.
You are customer- and results-oriented.
You are communicative and a real team player.
You have an analytical mind, take initiative and are a problem solver.
You have a good knowledge of French. You can understand and express yourself well in English.
