As an experienced Geo ICT Developer...
I play an active role in projects related to data infrastructure and geo-ICT. I help set up new enterprise environments, design OTAP pipelines, and contribute to building robust and scalable architectures. Projects involving metadata and OGC standards don’t intimidate me, I enjoy diving into them. I automate data processes and data flows, APIs, carry out technical analyses, and develop Geo-ICT solutions using tools such as GIM’s own software framework, Geoblox. With these technologies, we aim to deliver projects that have a 100% positive impact on society.
Technically, I’m skilled in Java and Python, and I work comfortably with databases like PostgreSQL. I'm familiar with working on Linux servers and have experience with DevOps or the ambition to further develop those skills. Additionally, I have knowledge of Spring Boot, Vue, and TypeScript. I have a strong affinity for geodata & AI, and at GIM I’m given the opportunity to further grow my knowledge of GIS and geo-standards through training and coaching.
I love technology but just as much, I value the people behind it. I think along with clients, help write proposals, and present solutions in a clear and convincing way. I also provide technical explanations or training sessions and help shape project proposals. This way, I’m gradually growing into a role where I not only develop but also help design at the system level.
I work in an Agile context, within a multidisciplinary team where content and collaboration are key. I’m given the opportunity to take initiative, further my knowledge in AI, take ownership, and deepen my expertise in areas such as enterprise architecture, data standards, SDIs, and Flemish data strategies.
